(More customer reviews)So I don't know that much about dhols.. but a few of my friends are punjabi, and they play dhol.. They said that this dhol looks good and all, but it doesn't sound right. They said that I probably just have to get it tuned (as you would tune a guitar, or any other instrument). The stick that you use to hit the treble side is horrible. It is hard to hold and stiff, and it scraped off a lot of skin because i was holding it wrong. I tried using my friend's stick and it was SO MUCH easier to play. But overall, pretty good. It would have been nicer if it came with some sort of covers to protect the skins from the temperature changes/environment.
