I have an older DR503 and wanted to check out the curved rack, which is longer. I also needed a rack for the practice room. So, I bought this and switched the front, shorter curve of my 503 and brought the single rack setup to the jam house. Works perfectly. And I love the curved bar on my full kit, a 9 piece Pearl Reference kit. The listing was incorrect, but I knew that. The rack comes with 2 rack clamps and 2 pipe clamps, which turn dead pipes into active mounts (One of the all time great ideas!). The price was great and the rack, designed by Toto's late drummer Jeff Porcarro (sp?) is worth its weight in gold. No more criscrossing tripods, no more infinite trips to carry hardware. Assemble the rack at the car and carry it as one unit! When I was playing in an original band, we had 10 minutes between bands, that's off, on and sound check in 10. I had everything on the rack except the bass drum and pedal, snare and hi-hat (Which can be mounted with remotes too!). It was less than a minute to get everything from the wings and in place! Love both of my racks!
