(More customer reviews)I sold drums at a large retailer for years... Pearl's hardware is without peer in terms of overall design, usability, durability, price and quality. I seem to destroy all drum gear, and usually on a gig unfortunately, but the Pearl stuff stands up. DW hardware (other than the pedals) is a joke, as is Ludwig, Gibraltar... I really believe that Pearl hardware is the best overall gear on the market. WHATEVER you do, just don't buy the DW Taiwanese pot metal garbage... they charge WAAAY too much for it and it just strips, snaps, breaks all day long.
