(More customer reviews)I have had this set for a couple of days and, for the money, this seems to be a great value. Really easy to set up, the wires are run inside the frame so you don't have cords hanging everywhere. I have only played it through the headphones, and overall the sound is very good. The pads and cymbals are very sturdy and fairly responsive and should hold up for a while. The kick is decent and the hi-hat function is o.k.; I have not had any of the problems, mentioned by others, with the mis-triggering zones. I would agree with the other reviewer about the pre-set patterns, which are really weak; if you are looking for some rock beats you will be disappointed. I am a medieum level drummer and this is a great set for me, since an accoustic would be way too loud; this set is a homerun for a beginner or anyone (especially a kid), looking to give drumming a try.
