(More customer reviews)This is a well-built and solid stand. The design lets you place your snare drum on top and adjust the threaded knob underneath to grip the snare. The rubberized grips will not scratch your chrome. I like this stand. The only downside is that it is designed for the player to use while sitting. Unless you are not very tall, the stand does not telescope up high enough to comfortably use while standing. I wish they had extended the pipe just a little more to allow this option.
