(More customer reviews)I was in a music store looking at drums when I haphazardly started hitting a few snares while waiting for the salesperson to get back to me. I noticed one that just 'jumped out' and sounded really good -- much better than all the other snares next to it. I called the salesperson over and asked if it was something related to how it was displayed or something but and he said it was no wonder I liked that one particular drum - it was a Pork Pie and their original business was making just snare drums. Anyway, I decided I wanted it right then and asked how much it cost. I was blown away by the low price and took it home. I still love how it sounds and I love how much it cost as well. If you're looking for a high quality snare drum at an extremely competitive price - get this one.
